We’re not yet done with all the Sony Xperia Z1 hype, and now we have some leaked information about the purported Sony Xperia Z2. Yes, you heard me right, Sony Xperia Z2. A new leak surfaced on the internet that mentions the possible features of the alleged Sony Xperia Z2 (model number C770X) codenamed Avatar.
The purported Sony Xperia Z2 would come with a 5.2-inch IGZO Triluminuous Display with a 500ppi pixel density, which will be the highest in the current smartphone industry. The top spot is taken by HTC One which has a ppi density of 468. Other specifications include a Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 chipset along with a whopping 3GB RAM, 3,200 mAh camera and a 20.7 megapixel camera with 4K video support. On the software side, Sony Xperia Z2 will run Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box, and will see the daylight next year at CES 2014.
Let’s just take this rumor with a proper amount of salt. Sony recently unveiled Sony Xperia Z1 which they claim is the “Best of Sony”. Rumors also suggest that Sony has the miniature version of its flagship in the pipeline that will bring top of the line specifications packed inside a smaller body, and will release by the end of this year.
