Samsung is set to launch a new Rose Pink color option for the Galaxy S8+ in Taiwan carrying a TW 27,900 ($920) price tag.
According to the report, the new colour option is available for a limited time period on the company’s website, and there’s no word about the number of units available in the company’s inventory.
Also, Samsung decided to rebrand the colour options available in the market to Ice Lake Blue, Smoked Purple Grey, and Quicksand Gold for the Taiwanese market.
Apart from the fancy name and new colour, there’s nothing different about the new variant. It boasts the same set of specifications, including a 6.2-inch Infinite display sporting a 1440×2960 pixels resolution, a Exynos 8895 octa-core processor, a 12MP camera for photos and videos, an 8MP front-facing camera, a 3,500 mAh battery and ships with Android 7.0 Nougat as its operating system out of the box.
There’s no word if the company plans to launch the new colour option for other global markets, but we’ll keep an eye on the news and update you if we get to know anything about the launch of the new colour in other markets. Stay tuned.
