Samsung has already released the latest Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge earlier this year. Carriers across the globe are also in the process of releasing the latest operating system for the handsets.
Rogers in Canada has updated the update schedule and revealed that Android 7.0 Nougat update for its Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will start rolling out on March 20th.
Currently, Rogers customers in possession of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are running Android 6.0 Marshmallow so this should be a pretty good news for them.
The update will roll out over-the-air (OTA) and as soon as the process commences, you will get a notification on the handset asking you to download and update to the latest operating system. In case you don’t see the update, you can manually check for the update by going to Settings > About Phone on your device
It’s worth mentioning that it may take some time for the update to reach all devices as the process is completed in phases.
