Smartwatches seem to be the latest gadget manufactures are pushing and are currently falling over each other to get their devices into the marketplace. However a new unique and very innovative projection watch as launched over on the Indiegogo website this week called the Ritot.
Ritot has been designed to be the worlds first projection watch and as you can see from the image above it projects the time onto the top of your hand rather than having a specific watch face.
Ritot has been inspired by future technologies with the aim of providing users an original timepiece and is absolutely safe to be used on your skin and can be set to display in over 20 colours to meet your style and preferences.
But is also capable of providing notifications on incoming Caller ID, text messages, reminders, meetings, emails, Facebook, Twitter, calendar appointments and is equipped with a silent vibrating alarm and timer. Ritot’s creators explain :
“It’s been a long time since the mankind has stopped peering into the sky at the sun to calculate the time. Clocks were invented for this purpose. The first clock was created thousands of years ago. There were various types of clock, including sundial, clepsydra, hourglass and others.
Since then, the evolution of clock has continued and brought to us the first wristwatch. Every year there emerge dozens of new models of wirstwatches, but the operating principle has not changed.
We live in a new progressive millennium; everything around us progresses and develops. In our opinion, clock design should be both technically innovative and fashionable. Watches demonstrating that humanity does not stand still. These are the watches we bring into life.”
The Ritot watch project is currently over on the Indiegogo crowd funding website looking to raise enough pledges to make the jump from concept to production.
So if you think the Ritot projection watch is something you could benefit from, visit the Indiegogo website now to make a pledge and help the projection watch become a reality.
