Last week we heard that developers had submitted over 15,000 apps to RIM’s BlackBerry World for the launch of BlackBerry 10 which will take place on the 30th of January.
Now RIM has announced that over last weekend total of 19,000 apps were submitted to BlackBerry World, and they are extending the deadline for apps to be submitted to the platform to qualify for the developer incentives.
Now that the dust is settling from this weekend’s Last Chance Port-A-Thon, we’re excited to announce that over 19,000 applications were submitted to BlackBerry World over the weekend. This continues to show an overwhelming level of commitment from developers to the BlackBerry 10 platform.
It will be interesting to see how many applications RIM has available for the launch of BlackBerry 10 later this month.
