RIM has dropped the minimum app price for applications in its BlackBerry World app store ahead of the launch of their BlackBerry 10 OS which launches this Wednesday the 30th of January.
Prices have been dropped in Europe by around 25 percent, in the UK the previous minimum price for an app was £1.00 this has now been dropped to £0.75.
These updates will help to position your content items to be more competitive and attractive to customers in the UK and Eurozone markets. The goal of this adjustment is to ensure prices are in line with currency fluctuations and ensure content within BlackBerry World is competitive.
RIM have not announced what the minimum price will be in the US BlackBerry World Store, prices are currently set at $0.99, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.
