Rhapsody has this week uploaded a newly re-designed Android application to the Google Play Store, following on for its major upgrade to Rhapsody version 3.0 for Android in late September 2012.
The newly modified Android Rhapsody application brings with it an updated home screen, with sections labelled : “Albums For You” providing personalised album recommendations based on the music you like.
Together with “Rhapsody Replay” a newly added feature that provides you your music based on your music activity, and “Featured Albums” which provides a selection of albums from Rhapsody’s world class editorial staff.
Other new features of the new Rhapsody Android App include a new fly-out menu to provide direct access to main areas of the application from anywhere within the app, and updates to the full screen album art, swipe to skip, shuffle and repeat features, queue enhancements to name just a few. The new Rhapsody Android applciation is now available to download from the Google Play Store for free.
