Sony has this week announced via their PlayStation Blog that PlayStation Plus members, will be receiving an increase in the amount of storage they have available to store saved games within the online cloud.
The Online Game Save Storage increase was first announced back at Gamescom, will be upgraded to 1GB for PlayStation Plus members, via the 4.25 update, once its been downloaded and installed on PS3 systems.
The 1GB increase in storage for PlayStation Plus members, via the 4.25 PS3 update has been rolled out this week and should already be available to members, by going to the Saved Data Utility under the Game column of the XMB. Sony explains:
“So set your automatic download to upload every game save for every compatible game you play and enjoy the additional breathing room. You can also continue to use this feature to selectively upload game saves you specify.”
