Powermat, the creator of the wireless induction charging mats that became available around 16 months ago, is now looking to develop its charging system into new products and has a few of their ideas on show at MWC this week.

Powermat has already partnered with Arconas, the maker of airport seating, to include Powermat charging stations in its new line of airport seating, pictured above. The new seats will be available in 150 airports worldwide and will also incorporate standard AC sockets just in case your laptop or other gadgets need a boost as well and are not induction ready.
