Now using just a $100 handy scanner professional high resolution 3D images can be created using the Ponta Scan software. Ponta Scan is scanning software for Windows. Ponta Scan takes the raw data from handy scanners that cost a little over $100, and uses revolutionary new 3D processing technology to turn that data into professional quality, high resolution 3D data that would come from machines costing tens of thousands of dollars.
From objects that measure near one inch (a few centimeters), to people or yard statue sized objects, Ponta Scanner’s high precision rendering gives you professional quality without the professional price tag. Just start up Ponta Scan installed on your PC, push the start button, and scan your object with a hand scanner. The data will automatically be converted to high resolution 3D data which can be readily processed for 3D printing.
