Following on from yesterdays news of a PlayStation 4 CE-34878-0 error which has brought concern to the PlayStation 4 gaming community and caused corruptions in saved games on some owners PlayStation 4 systems.
Sony has today announced, they are actively investigating the cause of the PlayStation 4 CE-34878-0 error which has already caused some PS4 players to lose hours and hours of gameplay progress.
One PSN forum member ‘kickson123’ and PS4 owner has reported he has lost a massive 40 hours of gameplay due to the unexplained PlayStation 4 CE-34878-0 error, explaining in his post :
“Lost 40 hours of playing Assassin’s Creed Black Flag,”-“Now I don’t want to spend another 40h with possibility for same thing happened again. Also have PSN plus account and I was expecting that all my saves are 100% safe. At moment I am very disappointed in Sony.”
Unfortunately the PlayStation 4 CE-34878-0 error is not specific to one particular game and has already caused issues for players within NBA 2K14, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Battlefield 4, and Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag.
