A patch has now been released to fix the lag problems many PC players of Call of Duty : Black Ops have been experiencing over the last few days.
Treyarch has wasted no time issuing the fix which you can now automatically download via Steam, which is great news for all the PC gamers out there.
In a post on the official COD boards community manager Josh Olin has explained what fixes the new patch has addressed. Firstly it has addressed the lagg issue by increasing the server sv_maxrate to 25000 and overall performance has been improved for dual core and quad core processors.
Together with other smaller fixes addressing quickmatch joining and a fix to stop the ‘game session’ error message in Zombie mode.
