Google has revealed today that subscribers to its YouTube TV will be able to pause their membership for up to 6 months. It offers live streaming of programs from the five major broadcast networks in the U.S., as well as other channels. YouTube Premium original content is available for an additional fee.
For instance if you would like to try it out for yourself jump over to the desktop version of YouTube TV and enter the “Membership Settings” area. Within the option labeled Deactivate Membership, click on Pause Membership and choose between 4 weeks and 24 weeks depending on your needs.
Google explains “You can cancel or pause your YouTube TV membership at any time. When you cancel or pause your membership, you’ll still have access to YouTube TV until the end of your payment period. Canceling YouTube TV does not immediately remove your access to the service. If you’d like to cancel and remove access to YouTube TV right away, please contact our support team. “
