Parrot has launched a new car stereo which is designed specifically for the iPhone and iPods, the Parrot RKi8400 iPhone Car Stereo.
The Parrot RKi8400 is an FM/AM RDS car stereo that comes with multiple connections for digital music, which include a USB port, an SD card slot, and a double line in socket for analogue sources, and it also has a storage compartment which is designed to store and recharge your iPhone or iPod.
On top of that there is Bluetooth connectivity which lets you play music from your iPhone or other mobile phones using Bluetooth Stereo A2DP.
With the RKi8400, Parrot allows users to take advantage of the iPhone in car through a system that is easy to use and fully integrated in any vehicle,” said Henri Seydoux, founder and CEO of Parrot. “All iPhone functions—music, navigation of the music directory and playlists and Bluetooth phone capabilities—have been adapted for in-car use.
