OWC has added a number of new solid state drive (SSD) upgrade options to its line-up with four new additions in the form of upgrades for both 2011 and 2010 Macbook Air systems.
The new upgrade options provide users with a 68 percent increase in performance offering eight times the storage capacity of the drives installed by Apple.
The new upgrades from OWC for a 2011 MacBook Air start at 120GB with the Mercury Aura Envoy case for $200, increasing up to 480GB with external case for $800. Larry O’Connor, Founder and CEO, Other World Computing explains:

For the older 2010 MacBook Air range OWC has created three options that include the external case a 180GB drive for $270, 480GB for $780, as well as selling the Mercury Aura Envoy case separately for $48. Full range below:
