OWC has announced the launch of a new storage system they have created in the form of the Mercury Elite Pro Quad external storage solution that offers f our SATA drive bays enabling up to 48TB of storage to be easily managed thanks to the inclusion of the SoftRAID engine from a single USB-C connection.
The Mercury Elite Pro Quad’s powerful USB-C interface delivers 10Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 2 bandwidth. Supporting both Mac and PC connections as well as mixed Mac and PC environments the high-capacity storage system has been designed for post- production firms, photographers, creative agencies, higher education programs, and small businesses, says OWC.
The Mercury Elite Pro Quad storage system is equipped with a USB 3.1 Gen 2 interface and USB-C port that functions universally with any USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 equipped Windows PC or Apple Mac workstation.
