Those of you that backed the revolutionary Ouya console on Kickstarter and are still awaiting the arrival of your new Ouya console, will be please to learn that Ouya console development team has said that all Kickstarter backers will receive their consoles before or by the end of May 2013.
The announcement has been made on the Ouya console Kickstarter page and explains that shipments are currently lagging in April but will pickup in the month of May.
The Ouya console is equipped with a Tegra 3 quad-core processor, but earlier reviews of the new games console have been far from perfect, but Ouya console CEO Julie Uhrman has said that improvements will be made before the anticipated retail launch of the Ouya console in June.
“OUYA offers every game free to try because we believe you shouldn’t buy anything until you know you love it. We love playing games on the TV and we want to bring the most creative, innovative and engaging games back to the TV by allowing any developer—big or small, experienced or new, paparazzi-famous or up-and-coming—to easily build games for the big screen. Your favorite and soon-to-be-favorite games in 1080p—what’s not to love?”
