Some of our readers might remember the very unique and innovative Ostrich Pillow that we featured here on Geeky Gadgets back in the middle of 2011. Now the same developers have returned to Kickstarter to launch a new and slightly modified Ostrich Pillow, in the form of the new Ostrich Pillow Light. Which provides a convenient way to grab the few minutes sleep while travelling on a bus, train or plane.
Rather than encompassing your whole head as the original Ostrich Pillow did the new lighter version covers mainly your eyes and ears and leaves the top of your head exposed. In a more tube style design rather than a full over the head pillow. Check out the promotional video below to see how it’s designed might help you catch the few minutes sleep when travelling. Its creators explain a little more.
“The Ostrich Pillow Light has been designed to allow you to catch some sleep whilst on the go, it is filled with special silent silicon coated micro-beads to enhance sound reduction whilst remaining light-weight. Its smart adjustable elastic ring allows power-nappers of different sizes to use it comfortably. The carefully sourced fabric is extremely soft, making you feel cosy enough to literally drift away anywhere.”
The Ostrich Pillow Light project is currently over on the Kickstarter website looking to raise enough pledges to make the jump from concept to production. So if you think Ostrich Pillow Light is something you could benefit from, visit the Kickstarter website now to make a pledge and help Ostrich Pillow Light become a reality.
