The new Oppo F7 smartphone is now official, the handset comes with a 6.23 inch display that features a Full HD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels, plus a 19:9 aspect ratio. As we saw in the previous teaser images the device has a notch at the top of the display.
The handset is powered by an octa core MediaTek P60 processor and it comes with a choice of 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The handset comes with ColorOS 5.0 which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
Other specifications on the new F7 smartphone include high end cameras on the front and back. On the front of the device there is a 25 megapixel f/2.0 camera which has been designed specifically for taking high end selfies.
On the back of the handset there is a 16 megapixel camera with an f/1.8 aperture and some AI features. The handset comes with 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, facial recognition and face unlock feature. There is also a 3400 mAh battery. The device will come in a choice of Solar Red, Moonlight Silver and Diamond black and pricing will start at INR 21,990 (about $338.87) for the 64GB model and INR 26,990 ($415.92) for the 6GB model.
