Olympus has unveiled their new Tough Stylus TG-625 compact camera this week which is equipped with iHS Technology, standing for “intelligence”, “high-speed”, and “high-sensitivity”.
The Olympus Stylus TG-625 has been designed to be rugged and perform in outdoor conditions, being waterproof, shockproof, and freezeproof. The TG-625 is equipped with a 12.0 megapixel, together with a back-illuminated CMOS sensor, and TruePicVI SLR image processing engine.
Other features of the Olympus Stylus TG-625 include AF Focus Illuminator, DUAL IS image stabilisation, and the ability to record full high-definition movies with a resolution of 1920 x 1080.
The Olympus Stylus TG-625 Tough will now replace the older TG-620 and will be arriving in Japan on August 31st. Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet by Olympus, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always.
