Ford and Roush have teamed up to make a custom 2019 Ford Mustang GT that will be auctioned off at the Experimental Aircraft Association’s 2019 AirVenture air show on July 25 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The special Mustang wears a livery inspired by the iconic P-51 Mustang fighter plane that Col. Bud Anderson flew in WWII.
The Mustang has a custom paint job that looks like the livery on Andersons’s aircraft. The interior is covered in green leather and canvas to continue the military theme. The car has no rear seat with it replaced with aluminum panels.
The big upgrade is a Roush blower that pumps the 5.0L V8 to 710 hp and 610lb-ft of torque. The car also has custom Roush causal and aero enhancements and Roush wheels.
