Nintendo has announced, that they will announce the launch date of the Nintendo 3DS on the 29th of September 2010, confused? Rather than actually announcing the launch date of the 3DS they have decided to announce the date that they will tell everyone when the Nindtendo 3DS will go on sale.
The Nintendo 3DS measures 130mm x 74mm x 20mm and weighs in at 230g, it features dual displays, although the top display is a 3D display and the bottom display is a 2D display.
The top display measures 3.5 inches and has a resolution of 800 x 240 pixels, according to Nintendo 400 pixels are allocated for each eye to enable 3D viewing, whilst the bottom screen is a 3 inch display is a touch screen display with a resolution of 320 x 240.
Other specification on the Nintendo 3DS include three cameras, one inner camera and two outer cameras, which have a 640 x 480 (0.3) megapixel resolution. The 3DS will come with a 2GB Nintendo Game Card at launch.
So there we have it, on the 29th of September Nintendo will announce when the Nintendo 3DS will be available.
