ADATA has announced three new additions to its range of external solid-state drives (SSD) this week with the unveiling of the ADATA SE730, SC660, and SV620. SE730 and SV620 SSDs are available to purchase from today, while the SC660 will be available to purchase next month.
The new range of solid state drives (SSDs) are compatible with Windows, Mac OSM Android and come equipped with a USB Type-C SE730 with IP68 dust and water proofing. ADATA explains a little more about each hard drive below :
SE730: presenting the most compact USB Type-C external SSD in the world :
Embodying ADATA innovation and dedication to premium products, the SE730 packs read/write performance up to 500MB/s in a super-compact form factor that weighs a mere 33g. The smallest external SSD with a reversible USB Type-C connector in the world at the time of writing, the SE730 supercharges data transfers with USB 3.1 Gen 2. Its sandblasted metallic enclosure and robust build mean it carries official IEC IP68 dust and water proof qualifications, as well as military-grade shock proofing. The SE730 offers the ultimate in external SSD style, performance, and mobility, weighing less than a golf ball and fitting easily in the palm of a hand.
SC660 and SV620: creating more affordable external SSD options :
While external solid state drives were a luxury until very recently, the SC660 and SV620 place the connection to SSD performance and convenience within easy reach. The SC660 boasts a shock resistant build and runs at up to 410MB/s (read/write). Its stylish, super-slim metallic enclosure is just 9.6mm thick. The shock resistant SV620 delivers identical performance, wrapped in an enclosure with raised edges to protect surfaces against scratching. It features a bright blue LED activity indicator to keep users always informed. Whether preferring the metallic and ridged SC660 or the sleek and glossy SV620, customers gain access to SSD performance, efficiency, and durability at a great cost-performance ratio.
