Mushkin has unveiled its latest solid-state drive products at CES 2013. The new products fall into the enterprise class of SSD devices called ProSpec. The SSDs use enterprise-level MLC flash NAND.
Mushkin says that the drives offer random read performance of 80K IOPS and random write performance of 42K IOPS. The SSDs also promised a sustained transfer rate of 560 MB per second. The drives use a SandForce SF-2582 SSD processor.
The technology used in the SSDs promises to provide 10 times the write endurance level without any performance degradation over the life of the drive. Mushkin also features 128-bit AES hardware encryption and TRIM support. The SSDs are available in capacities ranging from 100 GB to 400 GB at an undisclosed price.
