MSI has this week launched a new portable computer in the form of the MSI PS42 laptop which is available in a number of configurations with prices starting from $899. The MSI PS42 was first unveiled back in June 2018 and standard configurations offer an Intel Core i5-8250U processor supported by 8GB of RAM, and it is equipped with a 256GB solid state drive (SSD). Although if you are looking for more performance power and your budget will stretch the configurations below are also available.

– Core i5-8250U/NVIDIA GeForce MX150/8GB/512GB for $1099
– Core i7-8550U/NVIDIA GeForce MX150/16GB/512GB for $1299

MSI has also included a fingerprint sensor to keep your documents an system safe from prying eyes. Other features of the MSI PS42 laptop include a backlit keyboard, 2 x USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-C ports, 2 x USB 3.1 Type-A ports, headset jack, and HDMI port.
