Earlier today we showed you the new Motorola Droid RAZR, which was announced by Motorola and Verizon, and now it looks like the RAZR is headed to the UK and will be available from the 1st of November.
The guys over at Clove just dropped us an email to let us know they will be selling the Motorola Razr in the UK from the 1st of November and it will be available SIM free for £379 plus taxes.
Specifications and Features
The Motorola Razr comes with a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED qHD display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, which ensures vibrant colors and sharp images, making it ideal for multimedia consumption. Processing is provided by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, which should offer smooth performance for most tasks, including gaming and multitasking.
The device also features an 8 megapixel rear camera capable of recording full HD video in 1080p, allowing users to capture high-quality videos and photos. Additionally, there is a front-facing HD video camera for video chat, making it convenient for video calls and selfies.
In terms of storage, the Motorola Razr comes with a generous 32GB of storage, which includes 16GB built-in and an additional 16GB via the microSD card slot. This should provide ample space for apps, photos, videos, and other media.
Design and Build
One of the standout features of the Motorola Razr is its design. The device is incredibly thin, measuring just 7.1mm in thickness, making it one of the slimmest smartphones available at the time. The body is constructed from premium materials, including a Kevlar back and Gorilla Glass on the front, which not only adds to its aesthetic appeal but also enhances its durability.
The Razr also features a water-repellent nanocoating, which provides an extra layer of protection against accidental spills and splashes. This makes it a practical choice for users who are often on the go and need a device that can withstand the rigors of daily use.
Another notable aspect of the Razr’s design is its ergonomics. Despite its large display, the device is designed to fit comfortably in the hand, with a slight curve that makes it easier to hold and use with one hand. The placement of buttons and ports is also well thought out, ensuring that they are easily accessible.
