Moto Maker is one of the most attractive feature of the Moto X, which give users the ability to customize the handset the way they want, by selecting different back covers, even the wood backs, and much more.
Until now, the Moto Maker customization was only available in the US, with the company planning to launch it for other markets as well, especially after the closure of the Texas plant. Motorola has finally started the Moto Maker customization service in Germany, allowing users to customize their Moto X the way they want. The customized Moto X will be made for Phone House for now, and costs only €1.
Earlier this year, Motorola mentioned it will expand the Moto Maker service to Mexico and Western Europe by the end of second quarter. That didn’t happen on time, but its better to be late then never. It also comes as a surprise since Motorola is just a few months away from launching the successor of the Moto X, which is also expected to hit global markets with Moto Maker customization.
Rumors suggest the alleged Moto X+1 will offer more customization options to users as well. It’s not just the Moto X+1, rumors suggest Motorola will sell the Moto 360 via Moto Maker as well, so it will be interesting to see what customizations the company would offer with the smartwatch.
