NGC is a new motion controller developed as part of the Samsung Inkubator program, capable of transforming your smartphone into an immersive motion controller that can be used with SteamVR, SteamLink, Android, PPSSPP and drones. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the NGC motion controller which has this week taken to Kickstarter to raise the required funds needed to make the jump into production.
Early bird pledges are available from £52 offering a 40% saving off the recommended retail price. If manufacturing progresses smoothly worldwide shipping to backers is planned for March 2020. “The unique design of the NGC glove integrates the smartphone technology with the hand. This interface required a human-oriented design and a deep understanding of the anathomy and ergonomics of the human body.”
“NGC is a fully mobile controller system based on ergonomic glove and mobile app. It turns your smartphone into a powerful, multifunctional controller for VR, AR and regular games, or any RC devices, such as drones and robots. The NGC continues the Google Carboard policy that caused the VR revolution by making it available for a wide audience. It is a simple and affordable, but also full-featured alternative for the leading products! “
