Last week Microsoft launched a new Surface Pro 3 tablet which builds on the technology and features from the previous two Surface tablets.
To help move the older Microsoft Surface Pro 2 tablets, Microsoft has today announced they have slashed the prices of the tablet devices by two £150.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 tablets come equipped with a 10.6-inch ClearPixel display offering a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and is powered by an Intel Core i5 processor with 4 or 8GB of RAM.
TheSurface Pro 2 tablet also comes with a 5 megapixel rear camera for photos and videos with a 3.5 megapixel front-facing camera for video conferencing and comes running Microsoft’s latest Windows 8.1 operating system. Microsoft explains:
“Weighing in at 900 grams, with longer battery life than the original Surface Pro with up to 7 hours of battery life for video playback 7 and up to 8GB of RAM, it goes with you anywhere. The next-generation Intel Core i5 processor provides incredibly fast performance while conserving energy, making Surface Pro 2 a truly powerful device.

The Surface Pro 2 64GB version is now available for £569 down from £719, and the 512GB version is now priced at £1,289 down from £1,439. The Surface Pro 2 tablet also comes with 200GB OneDrive storage for 2 years for more cloud storage.
