Microsoft has added a new keyboard to its range of devices this week with the launch of the Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Keyboard, which is equipped with a unique split spacebar.
The unique split spacebar on the Sculpt Comfort keyboard provides users with a handy backspace key on the left side of the keyboard’s spacebar.
The new Microsoft Sculpt Comfort keyboard has also been designed to provide typists with maximum ergonomic comfort to increase typing speed.
“With the Sculpt Comfort Keyboard, Microsoft is introducing its first keyboard to feature a split backspace-spacebar key. This design choice is the result of internal research that showed 90 percent of typists use only their right thumb to press the spacebar, leaving a lot of unused real estate on the left side of the bar. Research also showed the backspace key is the third most pressed key on the keyboard”
The Microsoft Sculpt Comfort keyboard will be arriving in stores soon says Microsoft, and will be available to purchase for around $60.
