Micromax has this week unveiled two new smartphones in the form of the Superfone Canvas A100 and Pixel A90, which have been created to provided budget friendly Android smartphone solutions, running Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system.
The Canvas A100 is equipped with a 5 inch LCD display sporting a low resolution of 854 x 480, and is powered by a dual-core 1GHz processor, supported by 4GB RAM, with 5 megapixel rear camera and front VGA camera, together with dual SIM support and microSD card slot for expansion.
The Pixel A90 sports a slimmer design and is equipped with a 4.3-inch, 800 x 480 Super AMOLED screen, and is also powered by dual-core 1GHz processor and similar hardware to the A100, but comes with Siri style voice command personal assistant called AISHA, and 8-megapixel rear camera.
The Canvas A100 is priced at 9,999 rupees or $180 off-contract, and the Pixel A90 is priced at 12,990-rupees or $234, for the sleeker design. More details are available over on the Micromax website A100 & A90.
