At the Consumers Electronics Show, the Chinese OEM Meizu announced the company is planning to target the US market, as well as Europe later this year.
Recently, Meizu sent out press invites to their event taking place in the capital city of France on March 6th. There’s no word about the plans of Meizu, but there’s a word in town that Meizu might launch their latest Meizu MX4 at the press event in Paris.
Additionally, there’s also a chance we might get to see the Ubuntu-powered Meizu MX3, along with some other details such as the availability date, as well as the countries and pricing, where Meizu will operate and sell its handsets.
As far as the Meizu MX4 is concerned, the handset might come with the latest Snapdragon 801 chipset or the company might continue to use Samsung’s Exynos 5 Octa chipset. Rumors suggest it will rock a 5.5-inch display and will come in two versions; one will come with 1080p display while the second variant will feature QHD resolution.
It’s all just speculation, and there’s no word about the purpose of the event. March 6th is not very far, and we’ll find out what the company is planning to do.
