Amazon has this week rolled out a new update to their LoveFilm iOS application which has brought with it a number of new features and tweaks that include support for Apple Airplay from the app. Allowing you to beam your LoveFilm media directly to your Apple TV set-top box for viewing films on your large screen HDTV.
The new LoveFilm AirPlay to Apple TV requires iOS 6.0+ and mirroring disabled to function and Amazon has also now added IMDB cast and director information, ratings, goofs, trivia and quotes to their media listings.
Other features included in the latest LoveFilm update include access and manage your LoveFilm Watchlist, faster & easier TV show searching, new genres and collections to browse and the ability to now browse the app without the need for an Internet connection.
