Logitech has announced its latest video conferencing camera system that is aimed at small offices on a budget that want a high quality video conferencing system. The device is called the Logitech CC3300e and it includes all you need to connect to a thin client or laptop and conduct video conferences with multiple users. Logitech says that while some video conferencing systems can cost over $7000, its new system is under $1000.
The CC3300e is optimized for six to ten users and is an all in one solution supporting full HD resolution. The camera has a 90-degree field of view and 10x lossless zoom. The camera also has Carl Zeiss certified glass lens. The camera can be remotely controlled with a 260-degree pan making it easy for the people on the other end to focus on the person talking.
The system also has noise and echo cancelling omni-directional mic with stereo sound that has a 20-foot range. The camera is compatible with Mac, PC, tablets, and smartphones. Connectivity with computers is via USB and for tablets and smartphones, the system connects via Bluetooth. The system is available this month for $999.99.
