The last time we saw anything from Light Blue Optics was back in 2010 at CES when they were showing of their interesting new Pico Projector. The projector is interesting because not only can it throw a small image, that image is touch sensitive too.
The projector has finally crossed the FCC after a long wait to get the approvals it needs to be able to come to market. The device has Bluetooth and WiFi onboard. The projector has gained a few improvements over what we saw the first time out. It now has support for gestures and is more finger friendly.
The projector has WVGA resolution and can throw a small image that measures 10.1-inches. The projector turns any flat surface into an interactive display. The projector uses holographic laser projection technology inside and has a 3.5mm headphone port along with a single mono speaker.
