Not too long ago, LG unveiled the V10 smartphone which is set to launch in the company’s home market later this month.
The handset will also launch in the US in the coming month, but there’s no exact availability date and pricing available at the moment. We do know that LG V10 is heading to Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile in the US.
Innovative Dual Display
The LG V10 brings a unique feature to the table with its dual display. The main display is a 5.7-inch screen boasting a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of 513ppi. This high-resolution screen ensures that images and videos are crisp and clear, providing an excellent viewing experience for users.
The secondary 2.1-inch display is positioned above the main screen and serves as a dedicated notification bar. This secondary screen can show notifications for things like the weather, email, time, date, battery icon, and more. This feature allows users to stay updated with important information without interrupting their main screen activities. For instance, if you are watching a video or playing a game, you can still see incoming notifications without pausing your activity.
Powerful Performance and Storage
Under the hood, the LG V10 is powered by a Snapdragon 808 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. This combination ensures smooth performance and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Whether you are browsing the web, streaming videos, or playing games, the V10 is designed to keep up with your demands.
The device comes with 64GB of internal storage, which is ample space for most users to store their apps, photos, and videos. However, if you need more storage, the V10 also includes a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 2TB. This expandable storage option is particularly useful for users who like to keep a large library of media files on their device.
The LG V10 ships with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop as its operating system out of the box. While this may not be the latest version of Android, it still offers a smooth and user-friendly experience. Additionally, LG is known for providing timely updates, so users can expect to receive newer versions of Android in the future.
Camera and Battery Life
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 16MP rear camera on the LG V10. This camera is capable of capturing high-quality photos and videos, making it a great choice for those who love to document their lives. The camera also includes various features such as optical image stabilization, laser autofocus, and manual mode, allowing users to take professional-grade photos.
For selfies and video calls, the V10 is equipped with a 5MP front-facing camera. This camera is more than capable of capturing clear and detailed selfies, ensuring that you always look your best in your photos.
To keep the device running throughout the day, the LG V10 comes with a 3,000 mAh battery. This battery capacity is sufficient for most users, providing enough juice to get through a full day of moderate to heavy usage. Additionally, the V10 supports fast charging, allowing users to quickly recharge their device when needed.
We’ll update you as soon as we hear anything more about the exact availability date and pricing on the respective carriers.
