LG has this week launched a new addition to its range of Windows tablet in the form of the LG Tab Book Duo, that comes fitted with a 10.1 inch multitouch IPS display and running Microsoft’s latest Windows 8.1 operating system.
LG has equipped their new Tab Book Duo Windows tablet with an Intel quad-core processor but unfortunately at the current time hasn’t release the exact specifications or processor type.
The new Windows tablet weighs 520g and is fitted with a USB 3.0 port together with a microHDMI connection, as well as a detachable keyboard. That transforms the Windows tablet into a Windows laptop when required making it easier to type out longer documents when touchscreen keyboards might not do the job efficiently.
The Tab Book Duo is also equipped with a rechargeable internal battery that is capable of powering the tablet for up to 11 hours on a single charge., and is now available in Korea. Unfortunately no information on worldwide availability has been released as yet but the Windows tablet is now available to purchase for 740,000 Won, or roughly $640.
As soon as more information comes to light on whether the tablet will be available further afield we will keep you updated as always.
