We previously heard a rumor that the new LG G5 would come with Iris recognition technology and now we have some more information on the handset.
The LG G4 came with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 processor instead of the Snapdragon 810 due to reported overheating issues with the 810, LG has plans to return to Qualcomm’s flagship processor for the G5.
According to a recent report the new LG G5 will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, we have also heard that this processor will appear in the new Samsung Galaxy S7.
The main camera on the new LG G5 will also get an update, the LG G4 comes with a 16 megapixel camera, LG have apparently chosen to use a 20 megapixel with a custom 1/2 inch Sony sensor on the LG, we can also expect the camera to incorporate LG’s Laser Auto Focus and will also come with Optical Image Stabilization.
As yet there are no details on when the G5 will launch, although we are not expecting the handset to launch until 2016, as soon as we get some more information about the device, we will let you guys know.
