We previously found out some of the specifications on the new LG G3, and heard that the handset would come with a 5.5 inch QHD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
According to @evleaks, who posted a screenshot of the UAProf for the LG G3, the previous resolution of the handset that we heard about is correct, and the device will come with a QHD display.
The last thing we heard about the new LG G3 is that the handset will be resistant to both dust and water. This has worked well for Sony with their Xperia range of devices, and LG seems to be following a similar pattern with the new LG G3.
Potential Processor and RAM Specifications
As yet, we do not have any details on what processor will power the new LG G3, although we suspect it could be the new quad-core 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor. This processor is known for its high performance and efficiency, making it a likely candidate for a flagship device like the LG G3. Additionally, we would expect the handset to feature either 2GB or 3GB of RAM. This amount of RAM would ensure smooth multitasking and a responsive user experience, which is crucial for modern smartphones.
Additional Features and Expectations
Beyond the processor and RAM, there are several other features and specifications that consumers are eagerly anticipating. One of the key areas of interest is the camera. Given the trends in the smartphone market, it is likely that the LG G3 will come equipped with a high-resolution rear camera, possibly in the range of 13 to 16 megapixels. This would allow for high-quality photos and videos, which is a significant selling point for many users.
Another area of interest is the battery life. With a high-resolution QHD display, the device will require a robust battery to ensure it can last through a full day of use. It is expected that the LG G3 will feature a battery capacity of at least 3000mAh, which should provide ample power for most users.
The software experience is also a critical aspect of any new smartphone. The LG G3 is expected to run on the latest version of Android, likely with LG’s custom user interface layered on top. This UI is expected to offer a range of unique features and enhancements that differentiate it from other Android devices on the market.
As soon as we get some more information on the new LG G3, including some photos and confirmation on the device’s specifications, we will let you guys know. The anticipation for the LG G3 is building, and it is shaping up to be a significant release in the smartphone market. With its high-resolution display, potential for powerful hardware, and additional features like dust and water resistance, the LG G3 is poised to be a strong competitor in the flagship smartphone segment.
