If you’re residing in Canada waiting for the handset to hit retail, there’s a piece of good news for you. LG Canada has announced the LG G3 will be available in the region from August 1st.
Although there’s no word about the pricing of the LG G3, it will hit retail on all major Canadian carriers, including Rogers, Bell, MTS, SaskTel and Videotron.
“We’ve listened to our customers,” says Court Elliot, Head of PR for LG Canada. “We’re launching this device only six or so months after the G2, and we’ve learned a lot from that launch.”
The handset comes with a 5.5-inch display sporting a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 801 chipset clocked at 2.5GHz. It has been confirmed that LG G3 will launch with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage with a microSD card slot, a 3,000 mAh battery and runs Android 4.4.2 Kitkat as its operating system.
There’s a 13MP camera on board as well which features optical image stabilization and laser auto focus to capture sharp images, especially in lowlight condition.
