Last month, we heard that LG G Flex will come to Canada later in Spring, and will be exclusively available from Rogers.
For those of you in Canada who are waiting for the handset to hit retail, there’s a release date in sight. LG G Flex is set to hit Canadian shores on April 3rd for $199.99 tied to a two-year contract with Rogers. Customers looking to purchase the handset off-contract have to shell out $649.99.
It’s been a while since LG released the flexible LG G Flex in several markets, but I think it comes with a high price tag, compared to the features it has to offer. If you can’t recall, LG G Flex comes with a 6-inch curved P-OLED display sporting a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 SoC with a clock speed of 2.2GHz.
Other features include 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, 13MP camera for photos and videos, a massive 3,500 mAh battery, WiFi, Bluetooth and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean as its operating system. There’s no word if the Canadian version will launch with Android 4.4 KitKat, but the handset is rumored to get the latest OS later this year.
How many of you will grab the LG G Flex once it goes on sale in Canada?
