LG recently launched their first flexible display smartphone, the LG G Flex which is now available in South Korea and will also be launching in the US some time next month.
Now according to a recent report, LG is already working on the handsets successor, the LG G Flex 2, the handset will apparently come with a new flexible OLED display which LG are planning the mass production of at the moment.
According to the details revealed, the LG G Flex 2 will feature a display that will allow for the handsets chassis to flex at 90 degrees, making it even more flexible than the existing LG G Flex.
The LG G Flex 2 will also come with a body that is made from a special hard rubber, and the handset will also feature a flexible battery like the existing LG G Flex.
We presume that LG will also include their new self healing technology in the LG G Flex 2, we saw this working recently when a knife was taking to the casing of the LG G Flex, and the casing was able to cure the scratch that was left with the knife, you can see the video here.
The pricing of the LG G Flex at the moment is higher than other smartphones, in South Korea it retails for the equivalent of $940, as yet we do not know how much it will retail for in the US.
