Kingston have just launched a new USB 3.0 solid state drive to their range of portable drives. The new drive comes in either 64GB, 128GB or 256GB storage capacities.
It basically a ultra-slim Kingston SSDNow V+ solid-state drive repackaged in an aluminium enclosure with USB 3.0 connectivity with read and write speeds of up to 195MB/s and 160MB/s, respectively, through the new USB 3.0 interface.
The new Kingston HyperX Max 3.0 SuperSpeed SSD measures just 73.49mm x 118.60mm x 12.00mm and weighs just 118g.
When the new drive is alunched the prices are expected to be somewhere near : 64GB – £125, 128GB – £220 and 256GB -£440.
