The Kindle ebook reader from Amazon has just had a few updates that will definitely help it claim a larger chunk on the ebook reader market.
The main upgrade is the battery life which has now increased by a massive 85%, allowing the ebook reader to give you approximately 7days usage rather than the 4 days wit the first generation battery.
I also now supports PDF documents which the Kindle and Kindle 2 users have been waiting for. You can now transfer PDF files to your Kindle ebook reader device simple by connecting via USB and dragging and dropping. You also have the facility to convert PDF files to the Kindles format when sending an email.
