Keyglove is a new concept currently looking to make the jump from conceptual idea into production on the Kickstarter website. It consists of a open-source portable Arduino/AVR-powered glove that uses touch combinations (for keys) and an accelerometer (for the mouse). Removing the need to use the traditional QWERTY keyboard and mouse combination.
The basic concept of the Keyglove is to generate input signals by touching conductive sensors together in unique combinations to create the characters required. The sensors are mounted on the fingers and palm of the glove which is thin and light, and has been designed to allow the user to preform other activities, such as writing without being in the way.
According to the designers Jeff Rowberg, once the Keyglove mechanics have been mastered, there is no need to even look at the Keyglove when entering data.
