The news comes as part of Avalanche’s recruitment drive at the Crowne Plaza Baltimore North Hotel on Wednesday 30th May for the benefit of former 38 Studios employees. The dev is collaborating with the same publisher who brought the first two Just Cause games to market, so it’s looking fairly likely this is the latest entry in that series.
Avalanche are also reportedly keeping busy with comic book and movie adaptations. And while movie video games rarely live up to their original inspiration, the rumoured Mad Max 4: Fury Road game Avalanche is working on just might. No information yet on the comic book game, but if Just Cause 2 is any indication, Avalanche could give Rocksteady’s stellar Arkham City a run for its money.
