JoilCloud the free Linux cloud based operating system for netbooks is now ready to download. The developers have made sure that Jolicloud runs on small memory netbooks and have included a couple of new features on this latest release.
JoliCloud’s mission was to build the perfect OS for netbooks and has been designed to make sure you can connect and collaborate efficiently, and easily share with your Facebook friends and other Joliclouders.
From first impressions JoliCloud looks a good rounded Cloud OS that allows you to keep your data stored locally on you netbook but has the option to back it up to the cloud if needed.
It also includes all major drivers so everything just works: WiFi, sound, Bluetooth, 3G, screen size, or so say the developers.
As well as netbooks JoliCloud will also run on touch screen displays and being based in the cloud it should allow you to synchronise across a number of different devices if required.
You can download the latest version of JoliCloud 1.0 here.
