It looks like the new iPhone X is going to end up being Apple’s biggest product launch ever. Not only is the handset on track to be Apple’s most popular iPhone, it is also on track to be their most popular product launch.
The handset went on sale last Friday and went up for pre-order the week before, it is now sold out for the next few weeks both online and in Apple stores. Apple’s biggest iPhone launch before the X was the iPhone 6 back in 2014, the design of the handset has stayed similar until thew new X this month.
According to a recent report by Slice, orders of the new iPhone X in the first four days are 25% higher than that of the iPhone 6. It would appear that the high price of $1,000 for the new iPhone is not putting people off the handset.
The report also said that around 96% of iPhone X buyers are apparently upgrading from an older iPhone. So it looks like the handset is a big hit among Apple fans. As yet Apple have not revealed any details about how many iPhones they have sold. We would expect some sort of official word from Apple some time this week on how popular they new flagship smartphone is.
