We previously heard rumors that Apple would be holding a press event on the 212st of March to announce their new 4 inch iPhone SE and also their new 9.7 inch iPad Pro.
Apple has now confirmed this is the date of the event and has sent out press invites, the iPhone SE event will take place in Apple’s Town Hall auditorium at their Cupertino campus on the 21st of March at 10AM Pacific Time.
The new smaller iPad Pro s expected to come with a 9.7 inch display that will feature a resolution of 2732 x 2048 pixels and the device will be powered by the Apple A9X processor.
The new iPad Pro is also expected to come with 4GB of RAM and will feature the same storage options as the existing one.
The device is rumored to get a 12 megapixel camera which will record Ultra HD video in 4K and it will work with the Apple Pencil and it will also come with a new Smart Keyboard.
The iPhone SE will come with a 4 inch display and a resolution of 1334 x 750 pixels, the handset will feature 2GB of RAM and an A9 processor, it is expected to be offered with two storage options 16GB and 64GB.
The smaller iPhone will come with a 5 megapixel front facing camera and a 12 megapixel rear camera, it will have support for Apple Pay and may come with a Force Touch display. Both of Apple’s new devices will come with iOS 9.3, we will have more details about them later this month.
