Previous rumors had suggested that Apple would be announced their new iPhone on the 6th of September. According to a recent report, the iPhone 8 will be made official at a press event on the 12th of September.
If this date of Tuesday the 12th of September is correct then Apple may launch their new iPhone on Friday the 22nd of September, with pre-orders starting on the 15th of September.
Apple will launch three new iPhones at their press event, the other two will be a new iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus.
The iPhone 8 will come with a new design and will feature an OLED edge to edge display, the exact resolution of the display is not know as yet. The new iPhone will be powered by a new Apple A11 processor and it will come with 3GB of RAM.
As we heard yesterday there will be three storage options for the iPhone 8, one with 64GB of storage, another with 256GB of storage and a top model with 512GB of storage. The iPhone 8 will come with dual rear cameras.
Apple will also launch the latest version of their mobile OS, iOS 11 with this years new iPhone. We are also expecting to see some other devices at the event, including a new 4K Apple TV.
